This first chapter of breaking AI and images to create amazing glitch effects has been a ton of fun. As an artist, the idea of not having control of the image you are about to see is fascinating. Usually, I feel the most in control when I’m drawing, but due to the nature of AI the most control I have is somewhat of an influence of the direction I’m going for whether it's using descriptive words or putting an image through the ringer by deleting and moving code to all the wrong places. My favorite way to glitch out an image had to be the audio glitch system. I began to recognize the different effects the audio would apply, for example using echo on parts of the image would create large green strips in the image that I am obsessed with. I wonder if I could create other pieces using photography to make a series of related images that all have been glitched by the different audio settings available. Or using audio from songs to put over the image code to see what would happen. I think that would completely break the image but it would be cool to try!
